Atmosphere-Ocean Model - This site provides climate simulations using the NASA/GISS
Atmosphere-Ocean Model for years 1950-2099.
50 different climate variables are available for
downloading, or complicated color plots can be
created interactively on the web.

Consortium for the Application of Space Data to Education - This is a great site to utilize if students wish to display large data sets into frames and framelets.
The DataSlate browser allows the user to navigate very large file systems were these data sets
covering the same area are stored together. DataSlate has a simple set of controls for selecting
and viewing data sets. When DataSlate is invoked it searches for a default data inventory label,
which identifies data collections that are available for viewing and presents icons on the display
screen for each data collection.

GISS Common Sense Climate Index - The Common Sense Climate Index is a simple measure of the degree (if any) to which practical climate change is occurring. The
index is a composite of several everyday climate indicators. It is expected to have positive values when warming occurs and negative
values for cooling. If the Index reaches and consistently maintains a value of 1 or more, the climate change should be noticeable to
most people who have lived at that location for a few decades.

Global Hydrology and Climate Center - Disciplines: Earth's global water cycle, the distribution and variability of atmospheric
water, and the impact of human activity as it relates to global and regional climate.

Imagine the Universe - This site, intended for ages 14 and up, is dedicated to a
discussion about our Universe... what we know about it, how it is evolving and the
kinds of objects and phenomena it contains.

Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center - The Land Processes DAAC was established as part of NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS) Data and Information System (EOSDIS) initiative to process, archive, and distribute land-related data collected by EOS sensors, thereby promoting the inter-disciplinary study and understanding of the integrated Earth system.
The role of the Land Processes DAAC includes the processing and distribution of ETM+ data acquired by Landsat 7, higher-level processing and distribution of ASTER data, and the distribution of MODIS land products derived from data acquired by the Terra and Aqua satellites.

Landsat Thematic Mapper Datasets at NASA's Observatorium - By clicking on the Landsat Data Sets link students can receive and understanding
of the underlying concepts of image processing with respect to remote sensing.
Resource link contains online tutorials and remote sensing basics. Free Landsat
TM data sets makes this an outstanding site for remote sensing studies.
Information is clear and easily to follow, direct links to several remote sensing
software packages and tutorial for Mac and PC. A must see and use site.
